Yes. BACtrack Skyn is collecting data at all times when the device is powered on. If your Skyn becomes unpaired with you iOS device, you can re-pair the Skyn without losing any data. Make sure to follow these steps below to re-pair with your Skyn.
- Turn your Skyn off.
- Log out of your Skyn app.
- Go into your iOS device Bluetooth settings and make sure to forget the Skyn there.
- Log back into your Skyn app and select the option to 'Pair a new device'.
- Follow the in-app prompts to turn on and re-pair with your Skyn.
As long as this is done within 72 hours of the unpairing event, no data will be lost. The Skyn hardware can store approximately 72 hours worth of data. Please note that you are only able to see the last 24 hours worth of data at any given time.
